OBJECTIVE:
To lay down a standard procedure to recruit and appoint the right people in the right place.
SCOPE:
This SOP is applicable for all recruitments.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Manager- Human Resource & Administration shall be responsible for following that procedure.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Manager- Human Resource & Administration shall be accountable for compliance with this SOP.

PROCEDURE:
All the appointments have to be finalized by the Director – Technical or any other official authorized by the management from time to time.
Whenever any vacancy arises in any of the departments, Concerned Manager has to inform the Manager – Personnel & Administration verbally or through written communication for the vacancy with all specifications related to minimum qualifications & experience required
Manager – Personnel & Administration has to invite applications through advertisement or through any other sources as deemed suitable.
Collected applications will be sent to the concerned Department – Manager for scrutinizing.
Department – The manager will send the scrutinized applications to Head-Personnel & administration.
Manager – P&A has to call the candidates for an interview mentioning the date and time, fixed in consultation with Department – Manager.
Candidates called for an interview will fill Personal Data Form and are initially interviewed by Manager–Personnel & Administration.
Short-listed candidates are again interviewed by Director-Technical or any other official authorized by management.
Personnel Department will issue an offer letter to the selected person mentioning the time limit for joining and other documents to be produced at the time of joining.
When the candidate joins the duty, the following documents have to be obtained to maintain his personal file:
- Joining report
- Proof of Qualification, Date of birth, and experience certificate.
- Reliving Certificate from a previous employer (if applicable).
- Medical Fitness Certificate from Govt. Medical Hospital/ Certified Medical Practitioner.
- Four passport-size photograph and 2 postcard-size photograph.
- Other nomination forms under PF, ESI, etc.
