Procedure of raw water storage and distribution
To implement the procedure of raw water storage and distribution.
This SOP covers the procedure of raw water storage and distribution.
PROCEDURE
Ensure that there is no production activity in the concerned area.
Visually check the water level in the tank the volume of which is 50m³
If the water level in the tank has dropped more than to 1/3, it is necessary to add water. Start the bore-well pump by pressing the green knob “START” on the сontrol panel. When the tank is full the water level control automation will turn off the pump.
Water from the tank is distributed to Production Area with the help of the pumping plant Wilo LO-ER and with the help of the pumping plant Danfoss. The plant operates in automatic mode. It is switched on with the help of the rotary switch on the Control panel of the plant.
Water for tests is collected from the raw water pipeline, according to the validation protocols of the water system.
Make the corresponding record about the water collection for tests in the Log Sheet of “Sample collection for water quality control” (Attachment I).
Carry out the tests for chemical and bacteriological composition of water.
The chemical analysis is carried out to determine:
1. Discription
2. pH
3. Chlorides
4. Sulphates
5. General hardness
6. Turbidity
7. Solids content
8. General alkalinity
9. Microbiological cleanliness
The bacteriological analysis is carried out to reveal:
1. E.coli
2. Salmonella species
3. S.Aureus
4. Pseudomonas aeruginosa
FREQUENCY
The chemical analysis is carried out daily (on working days).
The bacteriological analysis is carried out once in 30 ±5 days (depending on the Plant’s working schedule).
ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
All the analysis results should be normal. In case of negative results, the sanitation of the system should be carried out.
