To lay down a procedure for Operating and Cleaning procedures for the profile Projector
Operating Procedure
Switch on the main power supply and panel counter.
Switch on the Diascopy illumination switch and the light green halogen bulb will glow on surface of glass plate.
Magnification: 10 X and 50 X are there. 10 X lense used for check Distance, surface, radius and diameter and 50 X for diameter.
Ensure that objects should be free from oil and medicament traces.
The basic requirements for perfect working of profile projector are a clean optical system, accurately centered lighting, Careful focusing of the image.
Move the optical platform with the help of two lever Handles wheel till we get clear picture sharp image. Center the Object under magnification 10 X.
Three types of operations can be performed
Distance X- axes and Y- axes
Now place an Object on the optical Platform switch on the diascopic light and adjust vertically till we get a sharp Object image on the Projector screen by bringing the proper height of the beam.
By increasing the length of the lens with the help of a big handel wheel mounting the magnification will increase. And by reducing the length of the lens with the help of a Big Handel wheel mount the magnification will reduce on the projector screen.
Put the object in the center of XY –Plane (Magnifying Glass) Reset by pressing X and Y symbols twice. And Set Zero on the X screen – and Y screen on the penal counter. The display counter should show a “0.0000” value
Now move the object by matching one side with X- axes with the help of small Handel wheel and touch the other end /side of the object on same axes. The value displayed in X Screen will display the distance. / Diameter of capsules . The same operation can be done in Y-axis
Checking radius and Diameter
Select “FUN” display will appear on panel counter, the display will show “INNOVATIVE 2X OPP”
Press symbols have a circle and radious inside with three points. Panel counter will display “Radius of ARC….. Point 01”
Put the object in center of XY –Plane (Magnifying Glass) Reset by pressing X and Y symbols twice to Set Zero on the X screen – and Y screen on the penal counter. The display counter should show a “0.0000” value.
Move the optical platform with the help of two lever handle wheels till we get a clear picture sharp image.
Touchpoint -01 of the corner /Edge of Object on cross-section zero point of X-axes and Y-axis.
Then press “PROBE” On the panel counter then touch the second point of the object on the same point of the cross section and press “PROBE” on panel counter and touch the third point at another place of object then press “ENT” Twice.
The penal will display “Radius of ARC…….” Radius/diameter on display screen. X symbol screen shall display Radius value in mm and Y symbol screen shall display Diameter in mm.
Switch off Diascopy illumination and press Escape to exit.
Checking Surface
Switch on Episcopy illumination mounted Condenser vertically placed halogen lights.
Center the object on the magnifying optical platform.
Move the optical platform with the help of two lever Handels till we get clear picture sharp image.
Surface finesh will display from the magnifying glass on the profile projector screen.
Both types of illumination may be switched on at the same time without affecting the measuring accuracy.
Press Escape to exit and switch off the power supply.
Discard the object / Capsules after the examination.
Cleaning Procedure
Switch off all the power supply of the Profile Projector.
Clean the Profile Projector with dry lint-free cloth and great care must be taken to prevent any lubricant or medicament traces on the optical element.
Ensure that there should not be any traces on the Profile Projector.
NOTE: The personnel operating the Profile Projector shall wear protective aids i.e., hand gloves in addition to the normal gowning of primary area.
