Storage of finished goods
OBJECTIVE
The procedure of storing Finished Goods.
PROCEDURE
The packs of the product received from production are to be stored in the quarantine area.
After the Finished Product is analyzed by QC, the QC department sends a copy of the COQ to the warehouse.
The details concerning the products are recorded in the logbook.
After QC approves the release of the product, it is transferred to the Approved area.
The finished products are stored on pallets separated according to the sort of product and batch number.
After the batch is approved for release, the product can be dispatched.
The storage area must be cleaned as per the standard procedure and corresponding details are recorded in the checklist.
Entry to the finished goods store is closed, and the store is locked.
