Cleaning Of   Insecticutor

OBJECTIVE:

To lay down a standard procedure for cleaning of Insecticutor.

SCOPE:

This SOP is applicable to all cleaning of all the Insecticutor placed at different locations.

RESPONSIBILITY:

House Keeper/ House Keeping Supervisor shall be responsible for follow that procedure.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

Manager- Human Resource & Administration, Quality Assurance shall be accountable for the compliance with this SOP.

Insecticutor Cleaning Record- Attachment-I

PROCEDURE:

Switch ‘OFF’ and unplug the insecticutor before starting the cleaning activity.

Clean the insecticutor using long brush or dry cloth.

Remove the tray on the lower end of insecticutor and count the insects and then dispose them off.

Clean the tray, and entire insecticutor with dry cloth followed by wet cloth and finally with dry cloth.

Place the tray in the insecticutors and switch ‘ON’ the power.

Clean the insecticutors daily.

Keep the insecticutors ‘ON’ continuously for 24 hours.

Record the cleaning activities and number of insects found in Cleaning Record of Insecticutor’s.
